LGLACA are emailing to let you know of an exciting opportunity for our pupils to take part in. CYD (Can You Dance) have launched their second year of aerial (circus) competitions. We would really love for some of our pupils to take part in this competition, as not on would it be a great experience and lots of fun, it will also teach them what it takes to become a true circus performer. This competition is optional and there is not pressure to take part. For those pupils who would like to get involved, we will be working on their routines over the next three weeks. For the first stage of entry, we are required to submit their individual routines via video. In order to make this as spectacular as possible, we have secured a filming slot in the Big Top at Jay Millers Circus on the 12th July in Swanage, 9am -12pm. There is a small fee to pay for each individual (between £20 and £35) and there is also a booking form to complete. Pupils will also need to think about their costume too. We will send out further information about this once we know who has confirmed their participation.
